A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Erika Lutz, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about supporting children, teens, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
With 13 years of experience as a teacher, I bring a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, family systems, and the complex academic, social, and emotional pressures young people and parents face today. My background in education allows me to connect naturally with children and teens while also forming strong, collaborative partnerships with parents and caregivers. I understand how school, relationships, and home life intersect — and I use that insight to help clients build practical tools that support growth both inside and outside the classroom.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. My approach is collaborative and authentic; I believe therapy is most effective when we work together toward meaningful, sustainable change. I meet clients where they are, honoring their strengths while helping them develop new skills, deeper insight, and greater confidence.
Whether you are seeking support for your child, navigating family transitions, strengthening relationships, or working through personal challenges, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, clarity, and care. It is truly a privilege to be invited into people’s stories, and I am honored to support you and your family as you move toward healing, growth, and connection.
Outside of the therapy room, I value connection and balance, and I truly believe that growth happens not only in the hard conversations, but also in the small, meaningful moments of everyday life.
Childhood is where we first learn what it means to feel safe.
