Get to Know Me

Sarah- licensed therapist, mom of two, and passionate advocate for mental wellness.

I’ve always been the “therapist friend,” and turning that natural instinct into a career has been the greatest privilege of my life. With a background in Child Development and a Master’s in Family and Child Counseling, I’ve worked in nonprofits, private practice, and eventually launched my own in 2022.

My work is deeply shaped by my own experiences — especially becoming a mother and navigating the emotional aftermath of a traumatic birth. When traditional tools didn’t help, I turned inward, exploring nervous system regulation and holistic healing. That journey changed everything — personally and professionally. Today, I integrate these practices into therapy, helping clients calm the body to heal the mind.

I’m especially passionate about working with kids, teens, and parents. I want young people to know their power, to feel safe being themselves, and to learn emotional skills that will serve them for life. I want parents to feel grounded and confident. And I want everyone to know: you don’t have to wait for a crisis to prioritize your mental health.

My approach is warm, relational, and honest. I believe healing begins with connection — with yourself, with others, and with the present moment. Sometimes that means doing less, not more. Sometimes it means sitting in nature, resting, or playing with your kids. Therapy should feel safe, supportive, and real.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with compassion and walk alongside you with intention — I’m here.

Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m Tessa — a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist here to help kids, teens, young adults, and families turn life’s challenges into opportunities for growth.

I believe therapy should feel like a deep breath — a space where you’re not just heard, but truly held. Every person and family has their own story, and I’m passionate about helping you uncover your strengths, reconnect with what matters most, and find a path forward that feels authentic to you.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, family tensions, major life shifts, or simply feeling stuck, I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, connection, and resilience — at a pace that honors your unique journey.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll likely find me curled up at a coffee shop, hanging with my pets, or enjoying time with loved ones. I truly believe in the power of healing, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they create meaningful change.

Let’s take that first step together — your story matters, and I’m here to help you write the next chapter.

Get to Know Me

Hello, I’m Macey Howeson, a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping people find healing, connection, and self-acceptance. I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents, and have a special place in my heart for supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and other marginalized communities. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone — a space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued for exactly who you are.

My treatment approach is strengths-based, integrative, and deeply human. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. I tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences, blending evidence-based methods with genuine curiosity, compassion, and respect. Together, we’ll explore how your history, relationships, and beliefs shape the way you view yourself and the world — and work toward healing patterns that no longer serve you.

In therapy, I aim to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with your authentic self. My clients often describe me as compassionate and open-minded — someone who listens deeply and supports growth with empathy and honesty. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, identity exploration, relationship stress, family conflict, or self-esteem issues, I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.
